A couple weekends ago some friends and I had a chance to pick up a six pack of Coca-Cola bottles that had been preserved since 1994. I’m not sure where but somewhere along the line all of us had been told that the older a coke is the better it tastes, and since it was old enough to have real sugar, we all bought into that. It was a lie. They were terrible, we all almost hurled. This isn’t a story with any deeper meanings or metaphors, I just want to let you know that sometimes an old coke is just an old coke.
